1. Purchase & Ownership

Upon full payment, the buyer receives exclusive rights to use the pre-made book cover for personal or commercial publishing purposes. The design will be permanently removed from sale and will not be resold or reused by the designer for any other client.

2. Customisation

The purchase includes customisation of the title, author name, book blurb and optional tagline. The purchase also includes five rounds of text revision following the initial addition of the above details. Some pre-made designs may specify that colour optimisation is included in the price, no additional fees will be charged for five rounds of colour revision. Additional edits (e.g. font changes, layout adjustments, graphic changes, spine/back cover design) are available upon request but will incur extra charges. A quote will be provided for any additional changes requested that must be agreed upon before work proceeds.

3. File Delivery

Final files will be delivered in high-resolution JPEG or PNG format suitable for digital publishing once final revision has been approved by you, the client.

4. Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the digital and exclusive nature of the product, all sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not available once the final files have been delivered.

5. Usage Restrictions

The buyer may not resell, redistribute or claim authorship of the design itself. The cover may not be used in any way that promotes hate, violence, or illegal activity.

6. Credit & Attribution

Credit to the designer is appreciated but not required. If credited, please link to www.bookmarkedstudio.com or our instagram @bookmarkedstudio

7. Liability

The designer is not liable for any issues arising from the use of the cover, including but not limited to copyright disputes related to titles, author names or imagery provided by the buyer.

8. Design Integrity

This cover was created entirely by hand using professional design tools. No artificial intelligence (AI) was used in the creation of this artwork, ensuring originality and full creative control.

9. Promotional Use & Portfolio Rights

By purchasing a pre-made book cover from Bookmarked Studio, the buyer grants Bookmarked Studio the right to:

• Display the sold cover design in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media posts, website galleries, newsletters and advertisements.

• Include the cover in Bookmarked Studio’s design portfolio, both online and offline.

• Reference the project as part of Bookmarked Studio’s professional experience, without disclosing sensitive or unpublished manuscript details.

10. Author Credit & Exposure

Bookmarked Studio will credit the author by name and/or book title when showcasing the cover on its website and social media platforms, providing additional visibility and promotional support for the book. If the author prefers anonymity or wishes to delay public display (e.g. until after book launch), please contact Bookmarked Studio at the time of purchase to arrange a custom agreement.

These rights apply solely to the visual design of the cover and do not extend to the buyer’s written content or personal information unless publicly released or explicitly approved.
